It's a beautiful morning in the Town of Callahan, located in northeast Florida. Meridian Waste started waste and recycling services on Monday, September 30, 2019. The driver and helper teams hit the road early and had the pleasure of meeting and greeting residents of our newest service area!
The Meridian Waste Bridgeton Facility is proud to announce that Franklin County garbage route driver Joe Dunn was given a service award by the City of Parkway in special recognition for his dedication and service to the keep the Village clean and safe. The award was presented on Thursday, September 26, at Village Hall by Lynnette Busse.
It's Career Day for the students of Step by Step Learning Center in Fernandina Beach, Fla. Children learned about trash and the importance of proper recycling from the experts at Meridian Waste. The Meridian Waste team was led by District Manager Dave Shepler who also brought out a truck for the children to view.

Meridian Waste took part in the 85th Annual Conference for the Missouri Municipal League (MML) in St. Charles September 8-11.
Robert Taylor is a tenured roll-off driver who is the inaugural recipient and September’s Employee of the month. He has worked within the ranks of CFS as a rear-load driver and now a roll-off CDL driver for over six years, with 20 years in the industry. In his off time, Robert enjoys cooking out with his family and friends. He’s even inspired his son, Rojee Martin, to follow in his footsteps in the CFS residential department.
Our St. Louis, Missouri, team recently filmed an educational video about how we’re rolling out dual-stream recycling in the communities we serve and how the program is helping clean up the recycling stream.
Free Lunch Program for Children Helps Combat Summer Hunger
Meridian Waste provided free roll-off containers and disposal for Community Cleanup Day.
Local fire and EMS agencies receive a much-deserved donation.
Meridian Waste partcipated in Wright City's Big Rig Day. The kids especially loved pushing the buttons to run the recycling truck arm.
