Household Waste Collection for Municipalities
We partner with cities and counties to create clean communities which everyone can be proud to call home. Our convenient, curbside garbage collection services mean tidy neighborhoods with our provided 95-gallon carts* keeping both safety and aesthetics in mind.
*Certain local government contracts dictate other cart sizes and/or resident-provided garbage containers for waste removal. Please know that specific local governments that contract for solid waste services often have specific Garbage Guidelines. Please find your local Meridian Waste facility to identify your local government’s criteria.

Meridian Waste safety measures
Your residents can enjoy safer streets due to less traffic and have peace of mind knowing that safety is our most important job. We take significant measures to keep our employees and fellow community members out of harm’s way, including:
All collection trucks have back up alarms.
Front load and rear load trucks have backup cameras.
Smith System Training for all supervisors and all new hires.
Pre- and Post-trip inspections of every truck, every day it is on route.
Spill and first aid kits in all trucks.
Periodic driver observations.
Random drug testing.
All solid waste is not created equal.
We take good care of your waste. That’s because we know that all solid waste is not the same.
Our job is not only to collect the waste but to dispose of it in the most environmentally-safe manners.
