Meridian Waste: The garbage and recycling industry is very local when it comes to community needs, wants, financial capabilities, and political influences. It is rarely a situation of one size fits all. Thus, what makes the business so challenging—and rewarding—is the ability for Meridian Waste to respond nimbly and responsibly to those needs of our unique customers. Meridian Waste is in the spirit! Over the weekend, the North Florida teams decorated a rear-load garbage truck in the Town of Callahan, Fla., Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019.
Meridian Waste, an integrated cleared four tons of waste from the Town of Callahan on the first annual Community Cleanup Day.
On January 30, CFS held their annual Employee Appreciation Dinner honoring their Outstanding Employees who went above and beyond in their respective roles.
“We had some very tough decisions to make in deciding who earned these top honors,” said CFS Area President Rob Guidry. “We have an outstanding team who continually garner positive feedback from customers and from coworkers.”

Kids love trucks, and so do we. Meridian Waste has a fleet of trucks to assist us with waste management and our quest to keep our communities clean and green.
Meridian Waste in partnership with the North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) Pike County, donated 30 Thanksgiving dinners to families throughout the company’s Pike County collection service area and home to the company’s Eagle Ridge Landfill.
