Meridian Waste Alabama, LLC is proud to support the annual Attalla Heritage Day Festival with a $500 sponsorship, celebrating a tradition that brings together families, neighbors, and visitors in the heart of downtown Attalla. With live music, food and craft vendors, a kids zone, and more—all free to attend—the festival highlights the strong community spirit and Southern hospitality that Meridian Waste is honored to be part of.
Meridian Waste Alabama has acquired Tate Services, expanding its roll-off collection footprint in Huntsville and adding portable toilet and storage container rentals to its offerings. The acquisition strengthens Meridian’s service capabilities, enhances operational efficiency, and retains all 51 Tate Services employees at the Huntsville facility.
Meridian Waste proudly celebrated the creativity of Rae W. and Julienne G., winners of our recent Coloring Contest, whose artwork showcased the spirit of sustainability. Area President Patrick Messinger personally delivered prize packages, highlighting our commitment to community, creativity, and environmental stewardship.
This past Saturday, we proudly served as the Big Rig Sponsor at Touch-a-Truck in Christiansburg, VA, joining families for a day filled with excitement, hands-on fun, and community connection. From our colorful handprint dumpster to a lively dunk tank fundraiser, every moment supported local education and celebrated the spirit of giving back. We're honored to have been part of such a meaningful event, helping inspire the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

Meridian Waste Alabama, LLC is reopening its Huntsville Construction & Demolition (C&D) Transfer Station at 4583 Pryor Road in Madison, AL, on Monday, June 23 at 7:00 a.m. CDT. Closed since a fire in November 2024, the fully rebuilt facility now features improved traffic flow, safer entry and exit points, and enhanced on-site safety measures. The site accepts only C&D materials such as concrete, wood, metal, and drywall, and operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information, visit MeridianWaste.com/AL or call 866-440-3983.
