Meridian Waste Knoxville gets a new truck. 

Our Touch-A-Truck event touched a few hearts!

Meridian Waste Missouri brought a big rig to the Moscow Mills 1820’s Days On Main Street Festival as part of the State of Missouri’s Bicentennial celebration.

Meridian Waste Virginia's Petersburg Team talked trash at the Tri Cities Home & Garden Show May 21 & 22. 

Keep America Beautiful®, the nation’s leading community improvement for-impact organization, has announced the summary of its 2020 study on litter in America.

Key findings include:

• Nearly 50 billion pieces of litter along U.S. roadways and waterways
• Slightly more litter along waterways (25.9B) than roadways (23.7B)
• 152 items for each U.S. resident
• More than 2,000 pieces of litter per mile (both roadway and waterway)
• 90% of people surveyed believe litter is a problem in their state
• 6 billion pieces more than 4 inches in size
• Most littered item remains cigarette butts, but this litter is down almost 70%
• 207.1M PPE items littered

Leachate tank construction at Lunenburg Landfill.  The tanks are expected to be completed and operational by the end of May.

Meridian Waste, an integrated announced today it closed on the purchase of Eco Waste Services, Inc., in the greater Greenville, S.C., marketplace.  

The acquired assets from Eco Waste Services include a hauling facility located at 512 Hood Rd. in Powdersville, S.C., and commercial contracts in Anderson, Cherokee, Laurens, Greenville, Oconee, Pickens, and Spartanburg counties. In addition to waste and recycling collection, the acquisition includes new construction site service lines of business for Meridian Waste with portable restrooms, temporary fencing, portable storage, and portable offices.
