Meridian Waste Virginia, LLC (aka Container First Services), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, is announcing their April 2020 Employees of the Month.
Container First Services (CFS) donated $4000 to help the Dance Life Company with their operational expenses due to revenue losses associated with COVID-19 business-related closures and the Governor’s stay-at-home executive order. Both the Dance Life Company and CFS are located in Petersburg and are committed to providing opportunity and support to their Petersburg community.
The purpose of the “Brightening the World” coloring contest was to introduce the concept of Earth Day and how waste management plays a major role in the health and safety of communities throughout the U.S. and even the world.
What a delightful, and SWEET, thank you note left for Wentzville route driver Scott Helmer.
CFS Richmond/Petersburg treated their team to breakfast while distributing the newest Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to those working on the frontlines. PPE included masks and heavy-duty gloves.
A customer posted their photo to a Lincoln County Missouri Facebook page sharing their thanks for a Meridian Waste frontline worker going above and beyond the call of duty.
The Employee of the Month for March 2020, is CFS employee Crystal Yeckley. Crystal is a real team player and is a valuable asset to the company.
The president mentioned the vital work of frontline workers, including solid waste and recycling workers, during his March 31 COVID-19 media briefing.
Catherine M of Florissant, MO, had a special message for the Meridian Waste team today. While out on his route, she stopped driver Frank L. and thanked him for his service to the waste management industry. Waste management is on the frontlines of removing the waste generated by the current public health crisis. Without regular waste removal, the disease can spread.
