Meridian Waste is pleased to have been selected as Carroll County’s exclusive environmental services provider. Meridian Waste will assume collection services once you register with us and (if you are a current customer of GFL) once your pre-paid service period ends with your current provider. This will be a phased transition over July, August & September due to existing payments made by a portion of garbage subscribers to GFL.

Set Out Time: 6:00 AM

No later than 6:00 AM on collection day and no earlier than 5:00 PM the day prior.

Garbage Pickup

Container: 95-gallon cart

Frequency: Collected weekly

Weight Limits: Garbage items cannot exceed two hundred (200) lb. in weight.

Instructions:

To help contain litter, please bag waste before placing it in the cart.

Lithium-ion batteries (the kind in cell phones, laptops, tablets) easily catch fire or explode when crushed, even if they're “dead”!

NEVER put them in the Garbage OR Recycling.

How to Place Carts Curbside

Close cart lid, point handle away from street, place on edge of street. Keep cart 3 feet away from all objects.
