Strong partnerships help build stronger, more sustainable communities.

We're proud to partner with Wake County to process construction and demolition (C&D) materials collected at the County's Convenience Centers at our Shotwell Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).

Wake County selected Shotwell in part because we're on track to become the only Materials Recovery Facility in this region of North Carolina to earn Recycling Certification Institute (RCI) Certification. This certification reflects our commitment to responsible recycling, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

For municipalities, contractors, developers, and businesses looking to support their sustainability goals, having access to trusted recycling infrastructure is essential. Shotwell MRF is helping recover valuable materials and keep them in circulation, supporting more sustainable projects across the region.
