Garbage Men & Women Doing Good in the Community
Here you will find a selection of our stories from the communities we serve and the environmental heroes who are part of the Meridian Waste team.
Last Friday, Sept. 6th, Meridian Waste Team Members John Franklin, Sales Rep, Tina Northington, Sales Manager, Nick Walker, Roll-Off/Frontload Supervisor and vendor partner Derrick Battles, Sales Rep for Clean Earth (pictured left to right) stepped up to the platform to raise awareness and funds for the The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers. The Foundation works together with donors and corporate citizens to join hands and address health issues that plague the NE Alabama rural community like transportation barriers, insurance gaps, awareness and education and much more.
The Foundation’s annual Sporting Clays Classic includes a friendly100-round sporting clays tournament complimented by food, livemusic, games and awards. Held at Bright Star Sporting Clays in Horton, Alabama, the event allows participants and sponsors to build relationships, entertain clients, encourage camaraderie and support the philanthropic mission of Marshall Medical Centers.
