Our St. Louis, Missouri, team recently filmed an educational video about how we’re rolling out dual-stream recycling in the communities we serve and how the program is helping clean up the recycling stream. 

Many communities that Meridian Waste services are now rolling out a convenient fiber (mixed paper and cardboard) option, in addition to their current Rigid (metal and plastic) cart. Ryan McCollum, our call center manager, explains what to include in the Fiber and Rigid carts along with common contaminants.

Helpful Tips: 

  • When in doubt, throw it out!
  • It is better to not recycle at all, then recycle incorrectly.
