Meridian Waste Continues Growth in Its Home State of North Carolina 

 

Acquires NC Dumpster in the Triangle Marketplace  

 

Raleigh, N.C. (September 7, 2022) – Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, announced today it closed on the purchase of NC Dumpster, LLC, located in Angier, NC effective September 1, 2022. 

The acquired assets from NC Dumpster include seven roll-off trucks, 400-plus roll-off containers, two portable restroom trucks, and more than 200 portable restrooms. Meridian Waste will transfer the assets and operate from its new hauling location at 110 Rupert Road in Raleigh, located across the street from its former hauling location, which now serves as a container maintenance facility and the portable restroom / auxiliary services operations hub. As the eighthasset for Meridian Waste in the State of North Carolina,the acquisition further densifies collection operations, and builds volume for its Shotwell C&D (construction and demolition) Landfillin Wendell, NC, and at the Lunenburg MSW (municipal solid waste) Landfill in Lunenburg, VA, via the Morrisville Transfer Station in Morrisville, NC.

The terms of the asset purchase agreements remain private. Thisis Meridian Waste’s twenty-fourth acquisition since the company transitioned to private stock under the ownership of Warren Equity Partners (WEP) in April 2018.
