(NASDAQ: MRDN) (“Meridian Waste” or the “Company”), a vertically integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, announced today that it has taken a portion of its recently raised capital and deployed it into additional equipment leases. The equipment is being installed at its Petersburg, Virginia and Lunenburg, Virginia landfill facilities.
This additional equipment allows Meridian to transition away from using an outside contractor and enables the Company to reduce its costs and improve operating efficiencies.
