Set Out Time: 6:00 AM

Carts must be placed curbside the night before or by 6:00 AM on your collection day to ensure service.

Garbage Pickup

Container: 95-gallon Meridian Waste/ADSI cart

Frequency: Once per week pickup (Monday - Friday)

Materials Accepted:

Containerized, nonhazardous municipal solid waste.

Instructions:

All waste materials must be BAGGED to limit trash spillage during collection and contained INSIDE your 95-gallon cart. If your cart is full, additional tied bags (35 lb. or less) can be placed beside the cart. If you regularly have excess bags, extra carts are available for purchase; please contact the Horn Lake City Hall at 662-393-6178 for details.

Yard Waste Pickup

Frequency: Collected weekly (Monday–Friday)

Materials Accepted:

Maximum of 6 cubic yards per home per week.

Weight Limits: Maximum 50 lb. per bag.

Instructions:

Tree limbs must be cut into lengths of 5' or less and must not exceed 10" in diameter.

Yard waste generated by professional grounds maintenance providers or tree cutting services will not be collected.

Explosion Danger!

Lithium-ion batteries (the kind in cell phones, laptops, tablets) easily catch fire or explode when crushed, even if they're “dead”!

NEVER put them in the Garbage OR Recycling.
