Tied/closed bags
Seven (7) bags per pickup per household
Once per week
Non-hazardous municipal solid waste
No tires, batteries, car parts, chemicals, or any construction materials will be collected.
Bulk Waste Pickup
Place items curbside, or at collection site by 7 a.m. on collection day.
Once per month collection on your regular service day during the first full week of the month.
e.g., toilets, sinks, mattresses, carpet, fencing, and large household furnishings
Safe for two people to pick up
Accepted are large household items that do not require special handling by law e.g. Prohibited items include but are not limited to appliances containing CFC's such as refrigerators, gas related items, and the like. No tires, batteries, car parts, chemicals, or any construction materials will be collected. Please call Bland County with any questions at (276) 688-4622.
White Goods / Appliance Pickup
Place items curbside, or at collection site by 7 a.m. on collection day.
Once per month collection on your regular service day during the first full week of the month.
Materials Accepted: Stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc. Non-hazardous.
Safe for two people to pick up
