With flow control, Montgomery County will force haulers to process or dispose of waste at its own facility. The results will be higher costs to you. Flow control allows governments to eliminate competition. And with no competition, you pay more. Take proactive action steps to stop the implementation of Flow Control:
1) Call the Montgomery Supervisor’s Office at (540) 382-6954 to voice opposition to the Flow Control ordinance.
2) Email your Montgomery County elected officials opposing the Flow Control ordinance

3) Attend the Solid Waste Flow Control Pubic Hearing and during Public Comment state firm opposition to implementing any find of Flow Control.
