Dear Lake Saint Louis Meridian Waste Customer,

Meridian Waste is proud to continue to be your environmental services provider. In November 2018, changes were made to your recycling service and since that time, only RIGIDS have been collected as part of your curbside recycling program. We are pleased to announce that beginning in September, residents can again recycle FIBER at the curb using a second recycling cart.

Please read below for the important changes to your recycling service. There will be a $1.00/month program fee for every resident regardless of if they opt out of receiving a FIBER cart.

Please note: Cart delivery will take place the last week of August.

Questions regarding the new Fiber rollout or your cart selection? Please call your dedicated Customer Care Agent at (314) 291-3131 ext. 4001.

NOT ACCEPTED FOR RECYCLING CURBSIDE: GLASS

Still want to recycle your glass?

Glass is not accepted in the curbside recycling program due to it being a common contaminant in the recycling stream. You can still recycle glass at your nearest recycling center.

GREEN TAG CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION PROGRAM

Meridian Waste will be using green tags to educate residents and keep the recycling stream clean and free from contaminants. If you receive a green tag on your cart, that means there are incorrect items in your recycling cart that have contaminated the stream. Upon receiving a green tag, please remove the incorrect items and reset your cart at the curb on your next recycling pickup day. We appreciate your cooperation.
