Set Out Time: 6:00AM

Place carts curbside the night before or no later than 6:00 AM on your collection day. 
Only Meridian Provided Container will be serviced.

Garbage Pickup
95-gallon blue Wentzville cart.
One (1) cart (no overflow; lid must fully shut) of securely-bagged trash. Additional 95-gallon blue Wentzville carts are available for a fee.
Picked up once weekly. (Option of twice per week for additional fee.) Place carts curbside the night before or no later than 6:00 AM on your collection day.
Non-hazardous municipal solid waste. NO tires, yard waste, or construction materials permitted.
To avoid blowing litter and to keep your carts fresh and minimize odors, please place securely bagged materials inside the cart (the cart lid MUST fully close). Additional bags can be collected when prepaid and scheduled in advance at a rate of $3.00 per bag. If you regularly have more trash than one cart can hold, adding a second blue trash cart may be a more cost-effective option. Individual trash bags CANNOT exceed 40 lbs.
Recycling Pickup
95-gallon green Wentzville cart.
One (1) single-stream recycling cart (no overflow; lid must fully shut). Additional 95-gallon green Wentzville carts are available for a fee.
Picked up once weekly. (Option of twice per week for additional fee.) Place carts curbside the night before or no later than 6:00 AM on your collection day.

Plastics labeled #s 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7; aluminum, tin, and steel cans; corrugated cardboard (flattened); and mixed paper. ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN, with non-paper items rinsed and labels removed. Do NOT bag recyclable materials.

Glass, plastic bags, and plastic films (such as cling wrap and plastic seals and sheets in packaging) are NOT ACCEPTED in the curbside recycling program.
Yard Waste Pickup (Opt-In Program for Additional Fee)
95-gallon brown Wentzville cart.
Combination of fifteen (15) lawn/leaf bags and yard waste bundles. The fully contained content within one brown Wentzville cart is counted as one of the fifteen items. Each additional bag/bundle is an additional charge.
Picked up once weekly (March-December).
Leaves, grass, limbs, and branches (securely bundled with twine) LESS THAN six (6) inches in diameter and LESS THAN five (5) feet in length. Bundles should be less than 18 inches in diameter and MUST NOT weigh more than 50 lb.
50 lbs. bag limit.

Large Items and White Goods/Appliances
Three (3) items collected at no additional charge per calendar quarter, to be picked up on your regular service day. Additional large items and white goods can be scheduled for a fee.

Sofas, mattresses, box springs, couches, other miscellaneous furniture, stoves, washers, dryers, freezers, refrigerators, dish washers, etc.

Yard Waste 10-Month Program - $10.42 per month; $3.00 additional per month with cart; additional bags over 15 bag limit - $2.50 per bag

  • Second weekly service (trash or recycle) - $18.00 each per month
  • Return or extra pickup - $15.00 per occurrence per waste stream
  • Scheduled trash bags - $3.00 per bag
  • Additional Large Items - $18.00 per item
  • Yard Waste by Appointment - $4.00 per bag (3 bag minimum charge). Not to exceed 15 bags per week
  • Cart removal / cleaning fee - $15.00 per cart
  • Additional cart delivery fee - waived
  • Service Interruption Fee - $35.00 per occurrence

Materials Accepted: Home remodeling debris/construction materials such as flooring, ceilings, shingles, lumber, countertops, cabinets, wood and composite decking, plywood, drywall, and similar assorted items.  Excludes yard debris, tires, appliance, hazardous materials and concrete or similar materials.
