Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, announced today the hiring of Don Kindig as General Manager of Eagle Ridge Landfill and Bowling Green Hauling effective July 11.

Kindig comes to Meridian Waste as a solid waste industry veteran with more than 30 years of operating and managing landfills, transfer stations, and material recovery facilities (MRFs).

Meridian Waste Blue Ridge celebrated our Team and showed appreciation for our Garbage Men and Women with lunch from the Cabo Fish Taco Food Truck. We also invited customers and vendors to stop by our office, enjoy the sunshine and lunch on us! 

Meridian Waste celebrates National Waste and Recycling Workers Week, June 12 - 18, 2022. Frontline workers in waste and recycling are often unsung heroes who keep the community clean, performing their duties in the early morning hours, in the cold of winter, and in the heat of summer.

Community entities brought in the big trucks for Hilliard Elementary School's Career Day. Meridian Waste with a read-load garbage truck and garbage carts to demonstrate how the truck works.

Eco Waste - A Meridian Waste Company, participated in the Great Adventures Learning Academy Touch-A-Truck event on Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Meridian Waste Virginia's Petersburg Hauling sponsored the Virginia State University Touch A Truck event on June 25, 2022.

On June 16, celebrating National Waste and Recycling Workers Week, Meridian Waste Tennessee treated its customers, drivers, crews, and local dignitaries to lunch from Backwoods BBQ and tours of PoplarView C&D Landfill. 

Elijah Harris, age 8, of Jacksonville, Fla., won 3rd place in our "Brightening the World" Earth Day Coloring Contest and was treated to a special tour of the facility and a tour of the big rigs!

Meridian Waste - South Carolina was one of multiple service companies showing off their large and impressive trucks at the Siloam Christian Preschool’s Touch-A-Truck event on Tuesday, April 5th.
