On Earth Day 2022, Meridian Waste’s Eagle Ridge Landfill hosted its Great Big Earth Day Party welcoming over 330 neighbors and guests to highlight the features of our state-of-the-art municipal solid waste landfill and have some family fun. One of the environmental give-aways that we shared with our community were tree saplings and flower seeds.

The following pictures show Pike County residents, Karter and Kash Schlueter from Curryville, Missouri, at their family farm being diligent arborists and gardeners planting their new tree and seedlings.

We thank the Schlueter family for sharing these wonderful pictures with Meridian Waste and for participating in our Great Big Earth Day Party! We wish Karter and Kash great success with their new tree and seeds.
