Meridian Waste was pleased to attend the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce 2025 Annual Celebration Ball: Awards Gala, themed “A Magical Night at Hogwarts.”

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2025 Belle of the Ball Award to Marlessa Thompson, Meridian Waste Area Sales Representative. This surprise honor recognizes a woman who has made extraordinary contributions to the Chamber and the local community over the past year. Nominated and voted on by fellow members, the award celebrates leadership through service, consistency, and genuine connection.

Marlessa’s involvement with the Ambassador Committee, her volunteerism, and her consistent presence at Chamber events have helped foster the welcoming culture the WSCC Chamber is known for. Her impact extends beyond attendance. She helps ensure others feel valued and included.

We are proud to see a Meridian Waste team member recognized for strengthening the community we serve. Congratulations to Marlessa on this well-deserved honor, and thank you to the Western St. Charles County Chamber for continuing to build a strong and supportive business environment.
