Lakes of the Ozarks, Missouri — At this year’s Missouri Waste Control Board Event, waste industry professionals, innovators, and environmental stewards gathered to share ideas, build partnerships, and celebrate the essential work of keeping Missouri clean. Among the standout participants was Meridian Waste, whose booth drew attention not just for its services—but for its people, passion, and purpose.

Front and center was Roger Brown, a recognizable and trusted leader in Missouri’s waste management community. Dressed in his signature Meridian blue, Roger brought more than just industry knowledge—he brought energy, heart, and a genuine connection to the people he serves. Whether discussing sustainable disposal practices or answering community questions, Roger made it clear: Meridian Waste is here to serve.

But this booth was more than information—it was about appreciation. In a fun twist, Meridian Waste gave away a Yeti cooler, and the lucky winner (pictured here with Roger) lit up the room with her big win and even bigger smile. The giveaway wasn’t just a prize—it was a thank-you to the many community members and professionals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make environmental responsibility a reality.

Also pictured is another passionate attendee, sharing in the excitement and representing the many hardworking individuals who help power the waste industry every day. Surrounded by booths like RWI Enhanced Evaporation and others, the event was a reminder that this work is collaborative—and that great things happen when dedicated people come together.

At Meridian Waste, it’s not just about hauling trash or recycling cans—it’s about building cleaner, safer, and more sustainable communities. Events like this are a powerful reflection of the company’s commitment to not just doing the dirty work, but doing it with purpose and pride.

Because at the end of the day, it’s more than a job—it’s a clean mission.
