Christiansburg, VA – June 10, 2025 — Meridian Waste’s Blue Ridge Hauling Division rolled out the welcome mat for its valued customers with a spirited and generous Customer Appreciation Day at the Christiansburg office, located at 205 Scattergood Drive. The event, held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., brought together community members and Meridian Waste staff for an afternoon of gratitude, fun, and fantastic giveaways.
The highlight of the day? A prize drawing filled with thoughtfully assembled gift bundles and coolers stocked with crowd favorites. Gift baskets featured name-brand treats like Dot’s Pretzels, Oreo cookies, and trail mix, alongside essentials like sunscreen, first-aid kits, and even handy car air pumps—perfect for summer adventures. Winners also received sparkling drink tumblers and popular restaurant gift cards to Panera, Chipotle, and Texas Roadhouse.
"Come for the prizes, stay for the gratitude!" was the event's tagline, and it delivered. Customers were welcomed with appreciation and cheer as the Blue Ridge team expressed thanks for their continued support and partnership. The raffle prizes were a hit, and the team made sure winners received their gifts even after the event ended—with all prizes hand-delivered as an extra token of thanks.
