Meridian Waste Participates in 2025 Missouri Waste Control Coalition Environmental Conference
Kansas City, MO – August 2025 – The Missouri Waste Control Coalition (MWCC) recently concluded its 2025 Environmental Conference, marking another successful year of collaboration, education, and innovation in the waste and environmental services industry. The conference, held annually since 1972, is recognized as one of the leading environmental conferences in the nation.
Meridian Waste was among the distinguished participants at the event, contributing as part of the coalition’s effort to provide a high-quality forum for citizens, businesses, regulators, consultants, and students to address critical topics such as waste management, recycling, environmental regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
Michael Parris, MWCC’s 2025 Conference Chair, emphasized the importance of participation from companies like Meridian Waste:
“Because of all the participants, it was a championship-level conference. The MWCC Board of Directors appreciates contributions from moderators, presenters, vendors, and sponsors alike. The conference cannot be done or succeed without you,” Parris stated in his post-conference letter of appreciation.
The conference featured a wide range of sessions and discussions, as well as networking opportunities and educational resources. With support from organizations such as Meridian Waste, the MWCC was able to offer attendees valuable insights into current challenges and solutions in the environmental services industry.
Looking ahead, the MWCC announced that its 2026 Environmental Conference will be held July 12–14 at Lake Ozark’s Margaritaville Resort. Organizers hope to continue building on the momentum and partnerships that make the MWCC event one of the most impactful gatherings in the Midwest.
