Meridian Waste Brings Trashy Fun to Wentzville’s Trunk or Treat!
With a Surprise Appearance from Everyone’s Favorite Grouch!
When it comes to community spirit, Meridian Waste knows how to show up — and stand out! On Thursday, October 16, 2025, our team was thrilled to participate in the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce’s Trunk or Treat in Wentzville, MO, celebrating spooky season with families from Wentzville, Flint Hill, Lake St. Louis, and Dardenne Prairie.
But this wasn’t your average treat stop…
Every trick-or-treater who stopped by our sanitation-themed trunk got more than just candy — they were greeted by a surprise special guest: Oscar the Grouch! Popping out of a full-sized trash can, Oscar delivered his signature grumpy greetings and plenty of laughs, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about “treats” of the night.
While Oscar stole the show, our Meridian Waste team brought the fun in matching shirts, surrounded by festive fall décor and Sesame Street-themed decorations — from Elmo to Big Bird. No costumes required — just pride in our community and a whole lot of team spirit!
Our sanitation-themed setup featured friendly faces, playful props, and that unmistakable Meridian Waste energy. Events like these remind us why we love serving this community — because it’s not just about waste, it’s about connection.
A huge thank you to the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce for organizing such a fantastic, family-friendly event. We’re grateful for the opportunity to engage with the communities we serve — and have a little fun while we’re at it!
At Meridian Waste, we bring the service, the smiles, and yes — even the Grouch — wherever we go.
