Meridian Waste Tennessee is delighted to sponsor Ms. Abbie Greene in her efforts to support St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital through the 2026 Lights, Camera, Fashion with My Best Friend Jenna fundraiser. The Lights, Camera, Fashion event was created by the shop owners of My Best Friend Jenna, a prom dress boutique, and is a prom runway fashion show featuring high school models from West Tennessee. The foundation of the event is to inspire young ladies to create a strategy to raise money for St. Jude’s. From a competitive pool of hundreds of applicants, those selected benefit from building new relationships, learn modeling techniques and develop a fundraising strategy.

St. Jude’s lifesaving mission of finding cures for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases is great cause that Meridian Waste and all its team members can rally behind. It’s important to know that our donation coupled with those of other generous sponsors and donors help ensure:

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened in 1962. And we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands of children.
