New Pick Up Schedule

Meridian Waste’s City of Trinity, NC contract begins DECEMBER 1, 2025.


Your NEW collection day (EFFECTIVE 12/1/2025) for garbage will be posted this week via a decal placed on your garbage cart post collection.


The Meridian Waste’s website feature Find Your Pick Up Schedule will be "live" once the contract begins on 12/1/2025.

Set Out Time: 6:00 AM

No later than 6:00 AM on collection day and no earlier than 5:00 PM the day prior.

Garbage Pickup
96-gallon city-provided cart
Collected weekly
Bagged & containerized non-hazardous municipal solid waste

To help contain litter, please bag waste before placing it in the cart.

Yard Waste Pickup
Collected on Monday of your assigned week (A, B, C, or D week).
50 lb. per item.

Yard debris from trimmed bushes & plants. Leaves must be placed in a compostable bag. Tree limbs no bigger than 4 ft. long and 4 in. diameter. Live Christmas trees.

Bulk Waste Pickup
One item per service day
Collected on THURSDAY of your assigned week (A, B, C, or D week).
Materials are non-hazardous household objects too large to fit within the cart, such as furniture, mattresses, and large household furnishings.
Safe for 2 people to pick up.

If you need a roll off dumpster for construction, demolition or a clean up around the house please call Meridian Waste for pricing and availability (336) 871–4055.

Not included are items associated with construction, remodeling, demolition, and trimmings, as well as items designated as hazardous waste by City or State agencies.

Lithium-ion batteries (the kind in cell phones, laptops, tablets) easily catch fire or explode when crushed, even if they're “dead”!

NEVER put them in the Garbage OR Recycling.
