Set Out Time: 6:00 AM

Garbage Pickup

Container: Customer provided cart, bags or 95 gallon cart rented from Meridian Waste.

Frequency: Once per week, Monday

Materials Accepted: Containers or bags, non-hazardous municipal solid waste.

Weight Limits: 60 lbs. / bag or container

95-gallon cart rental available

Recycling Pickup

Container: Hauler provided 65-gallon cart

Quantity: One

Frequency: Once per week, Thursday

Materials Accepted:

Alluminum, tin & steel cans, plastics #1, 2, 3, 5 & 7. Mixed paper and flattened cardboard. Items must be clean, with non-paper items rinsed and labels removed.

Glass and black plastic NOT accepted curbside

Bulk Waste Pickup

Quantity: One item at no charge on the last Monday of each month. $20 fee per additional item or for pickups scheduled on any other Monday.

Frequency: Collected the last week of the month.

Materials Accepted: Sofas, toilets, sinks, mattresses, carpet, fencing, etc.

Weight Limits: 75 lb. and able to be picked up by one person

Must call to schedule in advance.

White Goods / Appliance Pickup

Materials Accepted: Stoves, washers, dryers, etc.

Call to schedule. Cost per item.

Lithium-ion batteries (the kind in cell phones, laptops, tablets) easily catch fire or explode when crushed, even if they're “dead”!

NEVER put them in the Garbage OR Recycling.

Help us recycle right by only throwing these items into your recycling cart or bin.
Mixing garbage with recycling is costly for everyone. When in doubt, just throw it out (in the garbage, that is).

How to Place Carts Curbside

Close cart lid, point handle away from street, place on edge of street. Keep cart 3 feet away from all objects.
