Meridian Waste’s Gifting of the Turkeys Strengthens Community Ties

Meridian Waste gifted 127 turkeys equaling approximately 2,667 lbs. of Thanksgiving’s main course to neighbors contiguous or impacted by the company’s disposal operations at its six landfills throughout its six state footprint.

Meridian Waste’s Annual Gifting of the Turkeys commenced this Saturday, Nov. 11th, with Riverside C&D Landfill located in Knoxville, TN delivering over a dozen 18-20 lb turkeys to residential neighbors beside and near the landfill.

Meridian Waste Virginia welcomed more than 300 community members including elected officials, County staff, neighbors, students, and families to the Third Annual Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, October 28. 

Touch-A-Truck Event WOWS 600 Students

Today started off with a bang at Lyman Elementary School in Lyman, SC when 600+ students got to learn all about the mechanical aspects of Meridian Waste’s rear load garbage truck during the Touch-A-Truck event.

Vision RNG celebrates grand opening and ribbon cutting of Landfill Gas to Renewable Natural Gas Plant at the Meridian Waste Eagle Ridge Landfill in Bowling Green

Vision RNG and Meridian Waste celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the State of Missouri’s first Landfill Gas (LFG) to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plant at Meridian’s Eagle Ridge Landfill in Bowling Green, Missouri.

Meridian Waste’s Shotwell Environmental Park Annual Charity Pumpkin Patch Attracts More than 400 Neighbors at Recent Event

Guests enjoyed pumpkin painting, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, face painting, and a free BBQ lunch. The main attraction was the pumpkin patch where guests picked a pumpkin and made a charitable donation which Meridian Waste generously matched. This year’s donation recipients are East Wake Education Foundation and Good Hope Baptist Church.
