Job Title: Retention Sales Representative
Reports To: Area Sales Manager
The primary purposes of this position are to assist Meridian Waste customers and support the Territory Sales Representatives, by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues or complaints. The retention Representative is also responsible for assisting the Area Sales Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage communications, strategy-focused on development and retainment of current customers.
Define loyalty offer strategies in partnership with analytics and sales team to maximize ROI while staying within budget constraints.
Lead ideation and conceptualization for retention program development and optimization, including process optimization.
Manage the ongoing retention and fulfillment processes, managing the program budgets with responsibility for the retention ROI.
Streamline and automate processes for client accounts, client services, service increases and decreases, and overall client satisfaction.
Focus on accurate reporting, and working closely with sales team to communicate and create the overall satisfactory client experience.
Utilize CRM to track and maintain customer contact information.
Follow and comply with all safety policies.
Additional duties as assigned.

Education/ and or Experience:
Specialized Knowledge Required – Including any required certificates, licenses, and registrations
Knowledge of all facets of sales strategy and implementation including market research, customer prospecting, sales promotion and customer retention strategies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Organizational expertise regarding event management and grassroots outreach.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
