Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, is hosting an Earth Day-themed coloring contest, “Brightening the World” for children ages 5-10 to help keep them stimulated while spending more time at home.

Fire Danger: Lithium Batteries

According to a report from Waste360, lithium batteries tossed in the garbage may cause fires. The number of reported waste and recycling facility fires that occurred in the U.S. and Canada in January 2020 totaled 22.

Eagle Ridge Landfill Presents a Check to the Pike County Commission

Meridian Waste Missouri's Eagle Ridge Landfill has presented its Quarterly Host Fee Check to the Pike County Commission. The revenue generated from the Eagle Ridge Landfill will help to fund County projects, including the Parks & Recreation Department, and road improvements.

Meridian Waste Provides Thanksgiving Meals in Partnership with NECAC

Meridian Waste in partnership with the North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) Pike County, donated 30 Thanksgiving dinners to families throughout the company’s Pike County collection service area and home to the company’s Eagle Ridge Landfill.

Lunenburg Landfill
featured in Facilities

Lunenburg Landfill: Cell 2 under construction, adding 10 acres of disposal footprint to the site. In addition, the Company just completed constructing two barrow areas for cover dirt and sediment ponds for each barrow area. Lastly, 10 acres of the old Lunenburg County Landfill is in the process of being closed for post-closure monitoring requirements.
